# Views

In Studio, Views are used to display information about the project or to navigate through resources in a project. For example, the Project Explorer view is used to navigate through different projects and resources in your workspace, while the Outline view, presents high-level information about the current file in the Editor, such as displaying a hierarchal view of the elements in an XML file, or function and variables in a JavaScript file.

To open a view:

• From the menu bar, select Window > Show View.

  • If the view you want to display is visible, select it.

  • If not, select Other..., to open the Show View dialog. Select the view you want to display, then click OK.
